Run funded research and innovation programmes
The experimentation of early-stage ventures creates unique and fertile ground for R&D. We run funded programmes that maximise the impact and learning from this experimentation.
Create opportunities for researchers & innovators
We provide a platform for talented researchers and innovators to engage in problem-led research and innovation. Zinc offers a range of structured opportunities and fixed-term placements for PhD students and postdocs, allowing researchers, scientists and innovators to work directly with our ventures and/or in-house R&D team, applying their knowledge and skills within a fast-paced, creative, experimental setting.
Collaborate with R&D and stakeholders
We are working to develop an exciting new R&D ecosystem that maximises and accelerates the impact of research. Our work builds new bridges and partnerships with top universities and other research partners. We are a founding partner in ASPECT, a network for organisations looking to make the most of commercial and business opportunities from social sciences research.
